Originally posted by u108948I have a B.S. in Business with an Option in Finance from CSUN. My GPA is around 2.4. I am interested in going back to school at the age of 31 as I am much more serious now. I know that I will have to take the pre-med courses and the MCAT.
My questions are:
Can I take the pre-med courses at a Junior College?
When I do well, will my gpa improve enough or will they weight these science classes enough to offset my previous GPA?Would it be possible to take 4 years of undergrad again to erase my poor GPA? Or could I just take the classes that I did poorly in again and erase those grades with new grades?
Charles
You asked this question earlier and we do not believe our visitors like to see the exact same thread multiple times. Please refrain from posting the exact same questions repeatedly.

KeymasterGiven the extraordinary circumstances, I will say that Geo Select version II states with a certainty reading of 94 that the post came from Hyderabad India. It is possible that this individual is a student or even someone who was not on the school’s campus.

KeymasterSome people do not want to see Admissions Consultants answering every post on our board. I am sure Admissions Consultants does not want to search through every thread on this board to find posts to answer.
These are 2 of the reasons we are asking again that you please post questions for David and the consultants on the Ask Admissions Consultants thread. Thank you!

KeymasterI don’t know what happened. We haven’t delete any posts today. We probably had a server problem or our designer who is working on new sponsor links may have been messing around with our files.
I read your “re-reply” and, while I don’t want this to become an overtly political discussion board, it seems OK to me.

KeymasterThat’s a fair question, but it would actually be our hope that no one would post that information here. We don’t want this site to be in violation of copyright laws, particularly if the WSJ has deemed this to be fee-based content.
While it would be nice if there was a link we could post to the WSJ website if the content was subscription free, I would like to point out what David said about taking the rankings “with a grain of salt”.
Please feel free to continue to make suggestions though. You may just come up with one that we actually like! [

KeymasterI recommend you re-post this in the International folder in the MBA section. You should get a lot more responses and interest there.

KeymasterKumar, if you want David to respond, you should post this to the Ask Admissions Consultants thread rather than create all these new ones.
