ParticipantYes, most schools will take the highest score from each section of your SAT.

ParticipantWhat are you already doing to study? What materials are you using?

ParticipantI am doing Princeton Review’s online GMAT course and it is excellent. The materials, the lessons, the tests are right on target. I did not use Kaplan so I can’t compare, but I am getting a lot out of it.
I can’t imagine Kaplan’s online course costing $1400, though…PR’s online courses are nowhere near that expensive. That sounds like the price for the classroom course.

ParticipantThanks for posting that link. I am studying for the SAT but would be very happy to blow it off altogether!

ParticipantSAT’s not so scary if you’re ready for it. Do lots of practice tests and be sure to review your errors carefully. Definitely use the College Board’s practice tests (they’re the official ones), and the ones in 11 Practice Tests for the SAT. The official tests don’t have answer explanations but the other book does. They are REALLY useful. I would do those tests first so that you know how to fix your errors before moving onto the CB tests.
I also have Cracking the SAT, which is very good for test strategies. I would get that one too.
