ParticipantHi,
I’ve returned to this post after a very very long time. I had then decided to postpone my MBA plans by a year. It’s now time for me to give GMAT.
Most importantly, I want to know the latest time by which your team would accept consulting sessions for an international applicant.
Thanks in advance.

ParticipantIt’s true that Indian applicants (not NRIs) need higher GMAT score. But work exp is more about quality than quantity.

ParticipantHi,
1.Do univs accept paper-based LOR or they necessarily need online LORs?
2.If paper-based ones are accepted, can I take LOR now and apply in oct-2005 for fall-2006? Is that valid?
Thanks in advance.

ParticipantHi,
Firstly, thanks for patiently answering my queries in past 3 posts.
Next, as I mentioned earlier, I would take GMAT this year end and plan to apply for fall-2006 if GMAT is good enough.
Maybe at that time I might need your professional consultation for my applications. I hope you provide services for Indian residents.
Thanks for everything.

ParticipantHi,
I’ve joined a company where some certifications are available (the company’s own programs).
Certifications are usually in Finance/banking/investment domain. These decide some promotions within the organisation.Would doing this add some value in my MBA applications?
Thanks in advance.

ParticipantIs there a sure way of telling which school fits best for every field say Finance/banking,non-profit org, etc.
And you people believe rankings by WSJ/FT/USnews aren’t accurate.
So you mean that simply evaluating yourselves is the best way.kcarthic
ParticipantHi,
I’ve come to know that some B-schools look for split-up of the score (i.e. Verbal and math sections) in GMAT apart from AWA.
Is this true? So does this mean I’ve got to perform equally well in both sections to be considered in applications?
Thanks in advance.

ParticipantHi,
I’m from india preparing for GMAT and planning MBA-fall 2006.
My questions are:
1.How firm are B-schools on “minimum 2 yr experience” and “good GPA” criteria?
2.How good a GMAT score be for an international applicant to get into top 10 B-schools?
3.My GPA is about 3.2. Is this a deterrent in my prospects of top B-schools?Thanks in advance
