I was charged with a misdemeanor DUI a few weeks ago. It was my very first encounter with law enforcement and it was completely uncharacteristic and unrepresentative of the citizen I know I am. I do not mean to sound whiney. As of now, the case is still pending and I havenot been convicted of anything yet. If I am an otherwise strong applicant how will this impact my chances? Do I need to disclose it?
