Please advise me on what to do…

I am not sure whether I should go ahead and turn in my AMCAS. I took the MCAT last April and scored a disappointing 24. My undergrad GPA is a 3.3 and science is a 3.0. I retook the MCAT in August so now Im waiting for my score and hoping that it would improve.

Is it even worth it to turn in my AMCAS or just wait another year? I am planning to do a master’s program to improve my stats. Should I just go ahead with that?

My EC and recommendation letters are alright. I graduated in 2001, did the post-bac at NIH and now doing military research. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am in the same boat as JJJD, stats-wise. I retook the exam in August and am still awaiting for the score. Should I still turn in the AMCAS knowing I would have very slim chances of getting accepted? I can only hope my scores improve dramatically but I am not too confident. Right now, I am leaning more on doing a Master’s program to improve my GPA. Please advise.
