    You can still get into a good MBA program without working experience if your other credential is very strong; however, the problem is that you might not know exactly what you want to pursue in career, so you won’t be able to maximize the benefit of a MBA program. It’s much better to have work experience.

    You probably don’t want to attend a school that doesn’t require GRE anyway. Just apply for the next round of application.

    Yes retake the GRE will definitely help, but if you are going after a PHD program, some highly relevant research experience or relationship with professors might be able to help you offset the GRE verbal a bit.
