This is a very good course if you have a good grasp of the concepts. If you have been out of school for a while and are not very good with numbers, grammar, reading, I would definitely recommend getting a traditional classroom course.
There is a reason for the online version being cheaper than the regular course: it assumes you don´t need an actual person teaching you through the material.
Thank you for your advice in this forum, it has been very helpful. First, let me give you my background information:
-3.43 GPA from a top 50 US undergrad business school
-One year of work experience in a financial services company in the US.
-One year of work experience in a family-owned real estate development company. I manage the company´s financial division and supervise 15 employees.
-I have served for the past year as a board member for a charity organization that provides housing to families in need.
My two main concerns are:
-Will I be competitive at a top 10 business school even though I only have 2 years of work experience (3 by the time I start classes?)
-Even though my current job is very demanding and I have a significant leadership role in the organization, I am concerned that admissions will not find this experience very impressive because it is a business owned by my family.
