    I applied to several medical schools for entrance in 2005. I am in a weird situation however. I have a 3.98 GPA, but I only got a 23 on the MCAT. I feel hopeless. I am an international student and have research, hospital and child care experience. I really think I deserve entrance into school next summer because I am so hard working and this has been my dream. However my MCAT score is so inconsistent. It is an improvement from my first set of scores. What do you think of my situation. Do you think my MCAT scores can or should hinder my entrance even though it is the only thing working against me?

    the stuff i have been reading here does not seem to encouraging to me. but i am in a weird situation. i have a GPA of 3.98, but my last MCAT results is 23, which is an improvement from my last scores. what advise would u have for me. i have research experience and am very involved in different groups. do u think i have a chance at getting in next summer.[:)]
