Hi- I’m in the same boat as a lot of people here.
I’m a junior in uchicago with a 3.7 cum gpa (haven’t really figured out my science GPA but i believe it’s pretty competitive)
but just the other day mcat scores were released and I did way worse than i had ever expected- i got a 10 in physical, 11 in verbal (both of which were normal) but then i got destroyed in verbal with an 8. I also got an R in the writing section. i’ve been debating on whether or not i should retake the exam because i really do not want to take a year off and i would prefer going to an MD school in the us
