Hello everyone!
The Daily Pennsylvanian reported Wharton rather quietly changed its internal transfer requirements and no longer accepts students who have completed their fourth semester. The article also interviewed some of the affected students who explained how they don’t believe they will now be able to receive a dual degree from Wharton.
Let this harsh lesson remind you to be vigilant about staying current on all the policies at whatever school you attend. Periodically check websites and talk to advisors as well as others involved in the policy process. If there is a class that is difficult to sign up for and you have the opportunity to enroll, think twice about procrastinating and assuming you’ll be able to get that prerequisite checked off later.
