Last month, we blogged about how women drop out of premed disproportionately even when they have the same grades as their male counterparts. Earlier today, we blogged about a related paper that recommends female premeds get clinical experiences that allow them “to envision life as a physician and inspire resilience in the face of structural obstacles and academic hardships.”
