Hello everyone!
Ohio State University has created a new Masters in Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practice degree that will be launched in the fall of 2018. The three-year program will make Ohio State the first in the Midwest and one of the only universities in the country to offer such a program. It will also be the only art curation program in the country to require some courses in the public affairs and law schools on subjects including grant writing and contracts. Finally, the school is only planning to admit five students each year and capping the class size at ten new students each year.
We’re always excited when innovative new programs such as this one are introduced. This is the type of innovation that has helped make the United States’ university system the envy of the world. But even if art curation isn’t in your future, we hope you see that there are a lot of educational opportunities that you may want to take some time to explore.
Best of luck with your applications!
Sincerely,
David Petersam
