We just blogged about a new program in Michigan that offers $75,000 in loan forgiveness to new medical school graduates in the state who choose a residency in an underserved area. We concluded that we’re a bit concerned about the efficacy of these programs — though we love the intent and always applaud innovative new attempts to tackle problems. (Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?)
