    Hello everyone!

Bloomberg published a nice article about the growing demand and supply of ‘sexy’ Silicon Valley jobs for MBA graduates. The article speculates, and we concur, that MBA students are attracted to the work culture and diverse functional roles found inside these tech companies.

Of equal importance, the tech firms are hiring more MBA graduates. According to a GMAC survey, 81% of tech firms plan to hire MBAs compared to 70% just last year. There was an even larger increase in tech start ups where 77% indicated they planned to hire MBA graduates compared to 55% last year.

There are still jobs to be found in more traditional MBA-hiring sectors such as consulting and finance and roughly 25% of MBA grads are still expected to take finance jobs.

Best of luck with your applications!

    Sincerely,
