Hello everyone!
Michigan Law received a $33 million gift, the largest in the school’s history, from Chris Jeffries (’74) and his wife Lisa. This gift is intended entirely for students.
Chris Jeffries stated, “Law school is a unique way of disciplining your mind, and my time at Michigan was formative and memorable. I’m especially interested in paying the way forward for students who lack financial resources, and this gift will allow them to have opportunities and experiences they otherwise wouldn’t be able to.”
This past year, 83% of Michigan Law students received grants with a median value of $20,000. We expect to see these amounts increase.
