    Hello everyone!

McGill University in Montreal and Kyoto University in Japan have announced a new joint Ph.D. program in gene medicine. The program will, at least initially, enroll only four students per year (two from each university) who will spend at least one year at the partner school and, upon graduation, these students will receive Ph.D. degrees awarded jointly by the two schools.

Even if this program isn’t for you, we hope it helps you appreciate the need to research your options as new opportunities like this are constantly emerging — particularly in quickly evolving fields like gene medicine.

Best of luck with your applications!
