    Hello everyone!

The “Arts&Humanities@HMS” initiative finally launched this semester at Harvard Medical School after 4 years of planning. While art has had a small role at HMS (as well as many other medical schools) for quite some time, the new initiative looks to expand on the role of art amid many reports that doctors with arts training say that training makes them better at practicing medicine.

So what do you think? Will we see more art being including in medical school curricula? Do you think art training will make a valuable use of precious medical school training time?

Best of luck with your applications!

    Sincerely,

No. Classes on medicine. There is so much new technology and so many patients dieing because they are misdiagnosed. Let them go to art school and get art there.
