The ACT announced that, starting this spring, it will unveil the “ACT Academy” which will provide free and customized ACT test prep to all test takers. The ACT Academy is supposed to be compatible with all devices and will be available to anyone with Internet access. A spokesperson added, “ACT Academy will help students improve their readiness for the ACT test and college and career by giving them the resources they need.”
We’re pretty sure this is a direct competitive response to the SAT’s Khan Academy, but we’re all for competition that benefits college applicants. We look forward to hearing feedback on the ACT Academy and, even more specifically, feedback from test takers who use both the ACT Academy and the Khan Academy.
