    Hello everyone!

Florida Coastal School of Law, a for-profit law school owned by the same parent company as Charlotte School of Law, filed a lawsuit in federal court earlier today against the ABA claiming the accreditation group has a bias against for-profit law schools.

A press release includes the following:

For example: the entering credentials of Florida Coastal’s Spring 2018 class were higher than, or equal to, 52 other ABA-approved law schools. Florida Coastal’s first-time bar passage rate for February 2018 was 62.1 percent, fourth out of 11 law schools in Florida, besting highly regarded institutions such as the University of Florida.

We will keep you apprised of the case as it unfolds.

Best of luck with your applications!

    Sincerely,
