Hello everyone!
Emory University announced it has earmarked $40 million over the next five years to help doctoral students in its Laney Graduate School. Effective next fall, doctoral students will see their stipends raised from $24,000 to $31,000 in an effort to make the Ph.D. programs more competitive.
Emory President Claire Sterk stated, “Emory’s ability to compete among our peer and aspirant peer universities for the most talented PhD students will improve our ability to recruit and retain distinguished faculty. Talented doctoral students and distinguished faculty are both integral to fueling our academic ambitions.”
Best of luck with your applications!
Sincerely,
