December LSAT test takers increased 7.6%

Hello everyone!

The number of December LSAT test takers increased 7.6% this past year. We think this is an optimistic sign for increased interest in law schools. It follows a 1% increase in the September/October LSAT which was moved up more than a week. Given the increase in BigLaw starting pay and other related signs that the market may have bottomed out at least for the top-tier law schools, we wouldn’t be surprised to see another increase for the February LSAT as well.
