Hello everyone!
In news that would have been shocking not that long ago, Columbia University announced it is suspending admission to its journalism master’s program for an undetermined length of time to allow the school the flexibility to rework the curriculum. The program only received 10 applications this past season and three have dropped out leaving only seven students in the program as of now.
The current students will continue to receive the classes and instruction they were promised and Columbia is clearly hoping to find a way to rework the program to meet the needs of today’s journalism marketplace.
Best of luck with your applications!
Sincerely,
David Petersam
