Hello everyone!
Starting this next fall, Brown University will offer only scholarships and grants to new admits to help reduce their student debt upon graduation. Previously, these loan-free financial aid packages were only offered to families with income below $100,000. Currently, the average student debt at graduation is $23,810 and school loans had been capped at $5,000 per year. So, moving forward, students should only need to take loans for study abroad and incidentals such as personal travel, laptops, etc.
Best of luck with your applications!
Sincerely,
