    Hello everyone!

If you are looking for a quantitative and analytical graduate degree that is in big corporate demand right now, you may want to pay close attention to the “big data” masters degree. Also commonly referred to as business analytics and data analytics, businesses have found themselves with massive amounts of potentially lucrative data and a severe shortage of skilled workers who can help them properly interpret it. Accenture has estimated that jobs could outpace qualified workers by 250,000 this year just in the US.

These programs are still in their infancies. Employers aren’t yet overly concerned with the “pedigree” of the graduates as long as they have the job skills and the growing programs have not yet become overly selective in their admissions process.

Again, just something that might be worth considering if you are looking for a qualitative and analytical degree with good career prospects.

Best of luck with your applications!

    Sincerely,

How much of this supply dearth is associated with math’s nerdy image?
