    Right now, I’m writing my personal statement. Should I keep it general, showing a lot of examples of things that show I’ll make a good lawyer? Or should I focus on my current experience, which is education-related? I just reread my essay and I go into a lot of detail of frustration and desire to change current education law. I’m not sure it will be that easy to follow…I just sort of assumed that all admissions people would be familiar with all the laws ever made (i.e. special education law, the new and wonderfully underfunded No Child Left Behind Act, etc.)

    What is a good length–right now I’m at two pages…
