ParticipantHaving read many of the last emails from others,it seems as though my chances are real slim. Most of the past forums that I have read were issues dealing with; retaking the LSAT, and deciding upon schools, etc. Many of the writers had awesome GPA’s, unlike myself.
So how do I begin to compete with all of those like them for law school. Not to mention that my GPA may be even lower after it is computed through LSAC.
Am I wasting my and law admissions time?

ParticipantOf course you’re not wasting your time…if you want this you should go for it! Plus, I had a friend who got into law school with a 2.2 GPA and a pretty low LSAT.
I think that if you show the schools how much you want it, everything will be alright. Additionally, if you’ve got some quality work experience, that will make up for a lot of GPA issues. I keep on reading that the further you get away from college, the less your grades matter. I’m not even getting a professor to write my recs b/c I know they don’t know who on earth I am anymore…
By the way, my science and math grades were definitely in the C range. Don’t worry!
And I got some embarrassing grades in education classes–the easiest classes on the face of the planet, which means “they” will know that I slacked off!

ParticipantThank you for your encouraging words Cason; I really appreciate that you took the time to read my email and questions.
I am certainly going to give it a try and give it all I’ve got.
Hope to hear from you soon about your getting into an awesome law school.Cason Clements, Esquire (Has a nice ring to it)[
