Do graduate schools (namely medical schools) weigh people differently based on where they graduated from? For example, if two people theoretically had the same credentials but one graduated from UC Berkeley while the other graduated from UC Merced, would the Berkeley applicant be more favored?

The word egregious means both extremely bad and extraordinarily good.

Hi and welcome to Admissions Boards!

I believe the answer is a qualified yes. In other words, if everything else is the same, then the applicant from the more rigorous undergrad would have the advantage.

    Best of luck!
