I am interested in going to B school, but I am not sure what schools I am competitive at. I have a 3.8 from a top 75 University (BYU), and a J.D. from BYU. I have minimal work experience (small consulting firm). I have a 660 on the GMAT (Q-37 V-44). My practice tests were generally 720-750. What schools can I get into? Should I retake the GMAT? I have been accepted to UCSD’s new Rady School, but I’m not sure I want to take a risk on a brand-new, unranked school. I’d like something like UCLA or Duke–not sure I’d be competitive there.

If you are confident, retake the GMAT. A good score will get you in well ranked B-school. All the best.
