Hello,

My name is Lanca and I live in Australia. I have been working as a nurse and going to school in evenings. I want to attend medical school and the Oceania University of Medicine seems attractive, as they have an online pre-clinical model.

I have researched the school and have seen numerous negative press releases related to the school (most from this year). Has anyone else reaearch the school to see if they are ok?

Hi Lanca and welcome to Admissions Boards!

I can’t tell you what to do and I don’t know much about them but a quick search showed they were listed on this webpage: http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/Education_Degree_Scams_Unaccreddited.php which means they aren’t recognized in Oregon. Of course, you may not care about practicing medicine in Oregon and the school may well meet your needs.
