So I am a current pharmacist (just your avgerage pharmacist for 3 years) that has decided it is time to put down the pill counter. After much consideration and forethought (as probably everyone in this forum has), I want to go to medical school. Unfortunately, I took the MCAt twice last year and got a 19/21. So in response to this, I decided to go back to school (while working full-time) and take some undergraduate courses. These courses are ones that I have not taken, but I was told that every doctors takes it: immunology, genetics etc… So My science GPA is about 3.4-3.6 (guessimate). I have signed up to take the MCAT again, but after reading this blog, I am question whether this is a smart thing to do. But then again I have no choice.

So with all of this in mind, does anyone have any good advice as to what I can do to strengthen my application (outside of just scoring higher for the MCAT)?

Oh and if anyone tries to recommend postbac, I hate to burst the bubble but…. I was told be a couple (about 6 schools) that I would not make it since I have taken all the pre-requisite courses.

So if you were in my shoes… what would you do? Sorry for the long post.
