    Greetings,

I completed my undergraduate degree in the United States and will soon obtain my LPN through the military and paramedic status as well. I am going to take the LPN to RN track within one year to situate myself financially for further education. Unfortunately, one’s financial status often times dictates the path one must walk. My undergraduate education placed me in a pile of debt and I believe that my nursing experiences provide a different perspective than most students my age obtain before going to medical school. Emergency medicine in my passion, and I believe there is a lot of potential for growth and development to provide effective, efficient, and cost effective emergency care to the communities across the world.
I am going back to school for my Biology degree and Masters in Physiology or some sort of science, possible Public Health/Business. I was considering negotiating the research path because I believe progress starts with questions asked by curious cats. In other words, I love research and I am a curious cat.
So my question to the good people is how can I take all these experiences, move to Europe and go to medical school on a visa at an accredited program. I am studying German at the moment, and desire to pick up Italian and Spanish. Rosetta Stone is an amazing program, but I will further study the language of the country before attending school. I have three years to play/learn (not including deployments) before the fun starts and I understand planning is a big deal for goals such as these. So, how does one start the entire process besides taking the MCATs and completing the prereqs?

    Thank you,

    Julia

    Merry Christmas!

    Smile :)
