I hold a BSc Computer science with a less than stellar GPA (2.59). The reason/ excuse for this GPA is that I was a single working mother with a chronic condition (endometriosis and anemia). Now that my situation has resolved, I want to attend a Canadian Medical School.

Is it possible for me to get into a Canadian Medical School? What would be the appropriate path for me to take?

I was thinking of pursuing a second undergraduate degree to improve my GPA while studying for the MCAT. I also plan on doing volunteer work. As my interests lie in Geritrics or Obstetrics, I was thinking to be a visitor to hospital patients.
