I dunno, personally I’d just stay away from that altogether. Just because he wants the money doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the money to put out a hit on you! I generally try to not get people real angry, and I definitely try not to anger people whose response capabilities I don’t know.

I guess I’m too dull for some, but don’t harass telemarketers. Harass their bosses (and ask to speak to them when a telemarketer calls). I have a friend who got pregnant just after graduating high school and she needed a job and the best paying job she could find was a telemarketing job. Lots of times she would tell me in tears how rude people were to her each day even though she was just trying to do her job. If you really want a solution to the problem of spam and telemarketing calls make sure to target the source of the idea (i.e. upper management) and not just the people on the lines trying to make enough money for rent that month.

I have 2 thoughts.

1. Make him study the bible and give you quotes so you know he is trustworthy. If you are convincing I’m sure he will do it thinking it will be worth the scam. You never know. He might just realize the error of his ways.

2. Tell him you want to send your private information directly to the “international division”. Tell him it will keep the heat off him and you will still share with him for his finder’s fee.

Afternoon has tunred into evening. Here is the copy and paste I just sent our friend. I hope he thinks I have a rich family and continues to play along. If he does it is time he can’t spend with some one else.

I just came back from the family beach house and got your message. The invite was last minute and I need to stay in the good graces of the family until I’ve really struck out on my own if you know what I mean.

Since you mentioned trust, I have started to have some doubts. You contacted me, so I assumed you knew who I was already. I also don’t see what the rush is. If this money has been there for so long, a week or two more won’t make a big difference. Let’s make sure everything is very well thought out and all the details are in place.

I have 2 questions.

1. It seems unnecessarily risky that you should go to the International Division if I can do that for you. They are going to have my information anyway, so why should both of us risk our necks. If something happens to me, I can trust you will work to help me from the outside since you won’t be in the same mess as me.

2. The trust issue. You know who I am. Do you have access to a camera and scanner? I’d like a picture I know is of you. I’d like you to print out the front page of cnn.com, hold it in one hand and hold a picture of your photo ID in the other hand. Take the picture high resolution and email it to me.

Haha, you might be onto something there. If you did that with lots of these scams, etc. and kept a blog of your interactions with them I bet you could build quite a web following! Maybe some of the scammers would come across the site and realize how much they had been fooled! [8D]

For anyone wondering, our friend Rodney seems to be intent on picking a figtht with me. Because Michael Moore wrote Farenheit 911, that became gospel. Rodney does not seem able to or willing to think for himself. He is using an argument eerily similar to the see Mel Gibson’s Passion movie as if to imply Mel Gibson must be correct and thinks for those who were so adamant about his movie. I’m not sure if Rodney is a 13 yo middle school outcast, but I think wtih his bad logic, he won’t do well enough on the GMAT to be my classmate.

For the last time Rodney, I have already argued the case for Bush. Here’s the recap though. Bin Laden didn’t expect to be routed out of Afghanistan and he must be upset at what happened to Iraq. When dealing with psychos who believe the 9/11 terrorists are in paradise with their Allah and having hedonist sex with hundreds of virgins, they are only going to understand force. Go find some political board if you want to continue your assinine Michael Moore said so arguments.

I almost gave up on you. I am still waiting for a response to my last email. If you didn’t get it, please respond to my questions immediately so we can move forward. I have a big vacation coming up and I can’t cancel it without fears of raising suspicion. Hence, it is ugrent we get this done quickly or we will have to postpone it a few more weeks which neither of us want.
