Rankings mean everything to me. I only want to go to the very best school and I will commit suicide if Harvard or Stanford loses any appeal after I graduate. I will only apply to these 2 schools and I will submit applications to them every year until they accept me. I know they will eventually relent and break down in 20 years if I am persistent enough.

BTW, no flames pleaze. I was joking if you couldn’t tell. My real answer is #2. They matter to me but just a bit and probably no more than average.
