    Hi,
I took my GMAT 2 days ago, and I was totally disappointed with my score. I hoped to get something closer to 700 as I wanted to apply for Kelloggs and Anderson’s full time MBA.

I have a GPA of 4.0. I did my B.Tech from NIT Warangal India, which is one of the very reputed institutes in India.

I am wondering what my chances are for getting into Kellogs or Anderson. I was hoping that since I am a Mom, and I am planning on quitting my job to do a full time MBA, I might still be competitive.

Could you please let me know what your opinion is.

    Thanks.

Hi dearbindu02 and welcome to Admissions Boards,

Although I am not an expert I believe that you have a couple aspects of your stats that you can use to mitigate your score. Your GPA is one of these aspects, as is the fact that you are a woman. I believe that if you can shape these factors into your application and provide true focus and communicate your strengths effectively that you will certainly have a chance of admission.

    Best of luck!
