My 11 yr old daughter just got her SAT scores today. I,as a parent am wondering how these scores fair. READING 480…MATH 470 and WRITING 440 a total of………1390. She skipped 5th grade and has been on the principals list ever since. She is now in the 7th grade. Any feed back or comments would be appreciated.

Hi breezy826 and welcome to Admissions Boards!

Congratulations on the impressive accomplishments of your daughter! Generally a good score on the SAT’s in each section is around 500. Each school has its own way of evaluating SAT scores though and considering your daughters age I would say that she faired very well.

    Best of Luck!

I scored a 1770 on the new sat and It doesnt matter how well you score on the sat. At the end of the day its all about how much common sense you have to survive the real world.
