My 11 yr old daughter just got her SAT scores today. I,as a parent am wondering how these scores fair. READING 480…MATH 470 and WRITING 440 a total of………1390. She skipped 5th grade and has been on the principals list ever since. She is now in the 7th grade. Any feed back or comments would be appreciated.

That’s pretty good. I took the same test when I was in 7th grade. I got a 1540 but, didn’t do as well on the math as the others. She is most likey on the route to raising that at least 300 points by highschool. Btw, I am 15. If she didn’t study at all that is impressive.

Some traditional high school seniors don’t even achieve that kind of score. Your daughter looks to be doing quite alright.

Thanks everyone, I’ll get her to study more. She’s trying to get into Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire.

I was looking up Philips exeter academy and isnt it only for high schoolers? and your daughter is only 11 yrs old. so she cant possibly get into it. is she just practicing for it then?

is she in that duke tip program? yeah, apparently alot of 11/12 year olds are. and if she skipped a grade, she doing pretty well. i am actually taking it tommorow and ive taken a few practice tests. i scored about 1700-1800.
