You should major in a discipline you enjoy. If that’s music, then major in music.
The data from the AAMC does show, however, certain majors seem to have a slightly higher percentage of their applicants get into medical school. These numbers aren’t all that reliable, but they may give you a better idea of where certain majors stand in the eyes of the AdCom. For example about 33% of Biology majors are admitted to medical school, 35-40% of Economics majors get in, and 60-67% of Mathematics majors get the “you’re in!” letter.
The numbers for music majors don’t exist because, quite frankly, there really aren’t that many music guys and gals going into medicine.
Do something you like because that’s the only way you’ll do well.
