    Hello everyone,

Im currently a senior in HS and im gonna be graduating this year. The thought of being a doctor is coming to my mind and im wondering if i goto a Junior college then transfer to a better college, then will it affect my chances of getting in?

Thank you for answering my question [;)]

Yes. Junior colleges just aren’t as rigorous as senior colleges, and the AdComs know that. Your good grades in a junior college just won’t carry you as far as having good grades in a senior college.

Find a 4-year institution — a state institution, if you need to save money — and attend that if your aspirations are for an M.D.

    Good luck.

So it would be better to attend a Cal State (state institution as said), than to goto a JC? Even if that school isnt really good ?
