    Hey,

    How much importance does colleges put on admission essays. I am not a very good writer. Can you give me some tips?

    I think it depends on the school and the program you are applying for. For example, my law school cares very little about essays. They are only interested in GPA/LSAT score.

    It’s okay if you’re not a good writer. Start reading other people’s personal statements to get a feel for the flow, page length, etc. Allow other people to read your essay. Get as much feedback as possible!
