Earlier this month, Lansbridge University was shut down by Canadian regulators. Anyone who had started a degree from that school will find their credits can’t be transferred and their educational investment a bust.

Lansbridge offered BBA, MBA and “eMBA” degrees. Lansbridge University boasted accreditation from DETC, which also accredits Cartooning Correspondence Schools, i.e. draw the donkey.

This combined with a rather scathing article in the New York Times earlier this month about a very large for-profit school based in the US should be considered a cautionary lesson for students investing in non-accredited graduate degrees.

Best of luck with your applications!

    Sincerely,
