We’ve received several inquiries over the past few weeks regarding the LSAT test changes set for this year.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of unnecessary hype and anxiety surrounding these changes. Essentially, the LSAC is replacing the fourth reading comprehension section with two shorter passages. These two shorter passages, in the aggregate, will contain roughly the same number of words as the replaced section.
I’ve spoken with two different very competent and ethical LSAT instructors who have assured me that while this will have a slight impact on how they teach their students, there’s no need for anyone to get too worried about these changes.
If this post even helps just one LSAT student lower his or her blood pressure, I’ll be very proud of my effort here.
