DesignIntelligence has released its eighth annual ranking of the best design and architecture programs in the U.S.

For 2007, the top 10 undergraduate architecture programs are at:

1. Cornell University
2. Rice University
3. Syracuse University
4. Virginia Tech
5. The Rhode Island School of Design
6. Auburn U., California Polytech (San Luis Obispo), and the U. of Kansas (tied for sixth place)
9. The University of Texas at Austin
10. Carnegie Mellon University
