I am from Myanmar, a country most of you guys would not have heard of, I bet.

The thing is I am intending 2 go to Davidson college in North Carolina. Most of the people in my country have never heard of it. What are familiar with them are Harvard, Yale, Princeton or Stanford.
Some people say they do not care if a student has graduated from whichever small school in the States. THey say there are so many freuks who claim they graduated from the United States Of America, but they actually are some so-so ppl from unknown colleges…
Whenever I say I am going 2 Davidson, I receive skeptic looks from ppl..
    Is it really this bad?
Does anybody recognize a liberal arts student’s abilities?? Is there anyone?

I wanna hear some views on it..

    Thank you all!

I was accepted to Davidson. It is a great liberal arts college! However, I opted to attend Centre College in Kentucky. It is an even smaller liberal arts college with a better ratio of faculty to students, a growing reputation, better financial opportunities, and for me, a better intellectual atmosphere. Check it out! Regardless, Davidson is a great school and if you are accepted to attend, you should feel confident that you are attending and investing in a worthwhile school!
