How old is too old to go back to Bschool ?

I am a 33 year old IT manager. I have not been able to go back to school these past years due to various circumstanes.
I don’t wish to be pigeon-holed in my current line of work. I make
a decent six figure income, but that is not the sole consideration. How do admissions committees look upon older applicants ? IS an MBA the only effective way for opening up career options ? Any advice
and pointers are greatly appreciated.
