I have been hearing mixed things about my background and would love to get some good feedback. What are my chance of cracking the top 3 (i.e. Harvard, Standford or Wharton) with the following:
3.8 from Emory (Econ major)
3.4 from Duke Law School
670 GMAT
Three years work experience at one of the top corporate law firms in NY.
My grades seem good enough but do I have a shot at Harvard or Stanford with a GMAT that is 30-50 points below their average? Do you think my background might be interesting enough to overlook the GMAT? How bad of a sign is it that I haven’t received an invitation to interview at Harvard? Does that mean that I probably won’t get admitted?
