I have recently taken the GMAT twice…Once in September and again in November. My question is this…I scored a dismal 480 the first time (mostly due to nerves); I was so disappointed that I immediately signed up for a second try..this time (without studying or caring) I scored a 530..a 50 point increase. Although still lower than what I think I can achieve. My scores are very skewed in that I have a 67% on verbal, and only a 31% on Quant. I have taken calc with better than aveage grades (B)…and feel like my capacity (esp. for the quant.) is far from peaking. Is there a point to where..even if you keep increasing..say 30-50 pts. retaking the GMAT is detrimental to one’s application??
