I am a third year undergrad student working towards my BA in Biology and I would like to know what type of volunteer, extracurricular type of activities the admissions board likes to see on an application. I have worked at a vet clinic for almost 10 years and have an AAS in Equine Training and Management, but how much should I look into either volunteering or working in a hospital setting? I would like to study Dermatology, would it be a good idea to volunteer in this field before I apply to medical school?
