Hi, I have question regarding the use of GRE score for Engineering Graduate admissions. Do they mostly look at just the Quantitative sections? how much do they weigh the verbal? I just finished my Gre and I got 800 for Quantitative and 550 for Verbal, haven’t received my AWA marks just yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

All graduate programs want to see strong scores in all test sections of course. However, the engineering programs will be far more lenient towards a lower verbal GRE than, say, a school of journalism.

Best of luck with your applications!
