    Hello everyone!

Graduate students at University of Wisconsin-Madison are protesting a new pay plan. There have been previous attempts to unionize graduate students and it’s possible this time will be successful. Whether you believe some departments should be able to pay their graduate students more than the university-set minimum, thereby resulting in unequal pay, we want to stress the importance of proper due diligence into such issues before deciding on your list of target schools.

Best of luck with your applications!

    Sincerely,

I’m sure the STEM students are just as optimistic about the equal pay as their humanities counterparts.
